Air Chief visits ADA

BANGALORE: Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal F.M. Major visited the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) and its enabling facilities on Saturday to review the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) programme.

A release from DRDO said that the Air Chief Marshal Major, after the overall review of the LCA programme, visited facilities like system design and evaluation facility, open architecture avionics system facility, weapon integration laboratory and avionics integration rig.

He also visited the iron bird facility at the HAL and the LCA hangar.

He also chaired the quarterly empowered committee meeting of the LCA during which M. Natarajan, scientific adviser to the Defence Minister, was also present. Director of ADA P.S. Subramaniun was among the senior officials from various participating agencies who took part in the function.
