Conference

Texas Tech University will organise a conference on “Advances in Textiles, Nonwoven and Technical Textiles” here in July, in association with Avinashilingam University.

According to a release, a recent study by researchers at Nonwoven and Advanced Material Laboratory at Texas Tech University shows that the growth of the technical textile industry in India will be in double digits for the next three to five years. As the industry moves forward, it is essential to have experts and industrialists together on a common platform regularly. The conference will focus on research and marketing for the entire technical textiles sector – from fibre to end products. Those interested in presenting papers can send in the abstract to the organising secretary before May 15.
