AIADMK invites applications

CHENNAI: The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam has invited applications from its members who want to contest the Karnataka Assembly elections.

The forms will be available at the party head office on Wednesday and Thursday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on payment of fee. The filled in forms can be submitted at the head office, according to party general secretary Jayalalithaa.

In another release, she said the party would stage a demonstration in front of the Nilgiris Collectorate on Wednesday to demand reduction in bus fare charged by private mini-bus operators and distribution of colour television sets to all. — Special Correspondent
