‘Don’t sell cull birds below NECC price’

NAMAKKAL: The National Egg Co-ordination Committee (NECC) has asked the poultry farmers not to sell the cull birds below the price announced by it. At a meeting with the poultry farmers and buyers of cull birds here on Tuesday, the committee expressed concern over the existing difference in the price announced by the NECC and the price offered by the buyers. The meeting decided to remove the differences in the price. The buyers had given an assurance to buy the birds at the rate announced by the NECC, a release said.
