Review meet held
Staff Reporter
Kakinada: Joint Collector GSRKR Vijay Kumar has expressed dissatisfaction at the delay in acquiring land for Indiramma houses. He said the progress achieved eight months after his taking charge, was disappointing, particularly in the first phase of the project.
Addressing a review meeting on land acquisition and Rs 2-a-kilo rice scheme here on Tuesday, Mr. Vijay Kumar instructed the officials to expedite the process of land acquisition lest the pace of Indiramma should suffer. Court cases hindering the process of land acquisition, could be the only exception.
Sub-Collector (Rampachodavaram) Manikya Raj, RDOs K Nageswara Rao, K Nataraj, S Kadalaiah and Jitendra, District Civil Supplies Officer Prakasa Rao, District Manager (Civil Supplies) Ch Narasimha Rao and others took part.
