Thrissur: M.G. Sasi, director of Adayalangal which won the State Award for the Best Film, was admitted to a private hospital on Tuesday after Mr. Sasi came to know of the award while attending a theatre workshop at Peringode. He complained of severe backache soon after and was taken to a hospital in Vadakkanchery. He was later shifted to a hospital here and is under observation at its intensive care unit. Adayalangal is based on the life of writer Nanthanar (1926-1974).
