PUDUCHERRY: The Pondicherry State Government Employees Central Federation will organise a seminar on April 12 to discuss issues pertaining to the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission. General Secretary of the federation P. Lakshmanasmy told reporters on Tuesday that the organisation had invited Union Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Planning V.Narayanasamy and Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) M. Ramadass for the meeting. The meeting would also discuss the long-pending demand of the employees to accord B-1 status to Puducherry and issues with regard to promotions, recruitment rules and work culture, Mr. Lakshmanasamy said.
