‘Only Congress can give stable government’

DAVANGERE: Congress leader and former Chairman of the Legislative Council V.R. Sudarshan has said that the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Janata Dal (Secular) have no moral right to seek the people’s mandate and that the people have realised that the Congress alone can give stable government.

Speaking to presspersons here on Wednesday, Mr. Sudarshan alleged that there was maladministration during the previous coalition government and development had come to a standstill. The Janata Dal(S) and BJP leaders’ shenanigans were still fresh in the minds of the people, he charged. Mr. Sudarshan said there was perfect coordination among Congress leaders M. Mallikarjun Kharge, N. Dharam Singh and S.M. Krishna and there was no dissidence in the party. Abdul Jabbar and D. Basavaraj were present.
