Attacks condemned

Bangalore: The Peoples’ Democratic Forum (PDF) has condemned the recent attacks on Dalits in Jakkanahalli village in Mandya district and Devanooru village in Mysore district. Nagaragere Ramesh, PDF convenor, has said in a release that the attacks were indicative of the intolerant mindset of the “caste” Hindus towards Dalits. It has demanded stringent action against the culprits. — Special Correspondent
