P. Sunderarajan

NEW DELHI: With the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) deciding to go it alone in the coming Assembly elections in Karnataka, the party supremo and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Mayawati, has drawn up a detailed schedule for campaigning in the State from the end of this month.

Speaking to The Hindu, the national treasurer of the party, Ambeth Rajan, said Ms. Mayawati would lead the campaign, addressing rallies in different parts of the State at the rate of one rally for every 10 seats. The rallies will be held in three phases from the last week of this month, to coincide with the three-phase polling process. The exact dates would be announced soon.
