Fiji elections next March

WELLINGTON: Fijian interim Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama said in Suva his government was committed to hold general elections in March next year, the Fijilive website reported on Wednesday.

However, for this to happen, there needs to be constructive dialogue and engagement among all the interested parties in Fiji, the international community and major trading partners.

He added that the interim government would keep its doors open for dialogue with interested parties. — Xinhua
