Selection trials today

NEW DELHI: Trials to select the Delhi under-17 girls’ team for the National sub-junior football championship in Assam will be held at the Janaki Devi Memorial College, Rajinder Nagar, at 1.30 p.m. on Thursday.

Interested players may report to Dr. Mukesh Saggar, Physical Education Director, Janaki Devi Memorial College or the DSA Secretary, N.K. Bhatia, at the venue with their original birth certificates.

In the National championship scheduled to be held from April 25 to May 11, Delhi has been clubbed with West Bengal and Mizoram. All the winners of the eight groups will qualify for the quarterfinals. — Special Correspondent
