Lawyers to boycott proceedings

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Members of the Thiruvananthapuram Bar Association (TBA) decided to boycott legal proceedings on Thursday demanding the setting up of a High Court Bench in the capital city.

A protest rally held in this connection, launched by the members of the TBA, will be led by Varkkala Radhakrishnan and Panniyan Raveendran, Members of Parliament, and senior lawyers from the district.

Meanwhile, the satyagraha by the members of the TBA outside the Vanchiyoor Court complex completed 55 days on Wednesday.
