German firm donates Rs.5 lakh to college

TIRUPUR: A leading garment manufacturer in Germany, Esge Textile Works in Alpstadt has donated Rs.5 lakh to the NIFT-TEA Knitwear Fashion College here to construct classrooms.

Its managing director Christian Maag, who recently visited the college, was impressed with the infrastructure and curriculum of the college that aims to produce skilled workforce. Construction of the academic block of the college, founded by the Tirupur Exporters’ Association, is fast progressing.
