Virasam seeks release of artiste

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Revolutionary Writers’ Association has demanded the unconditional release of Jharkhand artiste Jeeten Marandi, who was detained on April 1 in New Delhi while leaving for Ranchi. It alleged that an attempt was being made by the Jharkhand Government to implicate him in the murder case of former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi. –Special Correspondent
