Idols stolen from temple

NAGAPATTINAM: Six panchaloha idols were stolen by a five-member gang from the Mariamman temple at Melapandoor village near Mayiladuturai in Nagapattinam district on Monday night. Police sources told The Hindu on Wednesday that the value of the idols have not been ascertained as yet. The Kuthalam police have registered a case.
