Maoists kill 6 in Rohtas forest

PATNA: Maoists killed six persons, said to be members of the Sashastra People’s Morcha, in the Tardih forest of Rohtas district on Thursday.

The police claimed that they found naxalite pamphlets at the scene of crime.

The Maoists charged that the slain persons “betrayed the parent organisation and served as police informers.”

The police sealed Bihar’s borders with Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh and launched a combing operation.

The deceased belonged to the Barachatti and Mohanpur blocks of Gaya district.
