BHEL turnover

BANGALORE: The Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has recorded an increase in turnover by 13 per cent and profit before tax by 14 per cent for 2007-08. The company achieved a turnover of Rs. 1,687 crore in 2007-08 as against that of Rs. 1,496 crore during 2006-07.

The profit before tax for 2007-08 was Rs. 429 crore as against Rs. 376 crore during 2006-07. The BHEL Bangalore units booked highest-ever orders to the tune of Rs. 3,277 crore.
