Mallikharjuna Rao remembered

Freedom fighter Gude Mallikharjuna Rao, who served as vie-president of the Krishna District Freedom Fighters Association, was remembered at a memorial meeting at S.V.S. Kalyana Mandapam on Thursday.

CPI district secretary S. Nageswara Rao said liberation of Paritala and declaring it as a republic by Mallikharjuna Rao as part of the struggle against the rule of the Nizam was a historic moment.
