NEW DELHI: Superb bowling by off-spinner Suhail Sharma (four for 33) and good knocks by Sunny Singh (66) and Gaurav Goel (55) helped Sonnet Club beat Young Friends Club by seven wickets and enter the quarterfinals of the 15th Shera Pandit Memorial SP Trophy cricket tournament being held here. Suhail was named MDH Man of the Match. The scores: Young Friends 189 for nine in 40 overs (Jayant Yadav 50, Suhail Sharma four for 33) lost to Sonnet Club 191 for three in 35.5 overs (Sunny Singh 66, Karan Goel 55).
