Remembering gallant fire fighters

NEW DELHI: To remember the 66 gallant officers and men of the Mumbai Fire Brigade who laid down their lives during a fire-fighting operation in 1944, the Delhi Fire Service is organising Fire Service Week in the Capital beginning Monday. Apart from conducting various activities like fire safety demonstrations, the Delhi Fire Service’s main focus will be on educating the public about safety measures.
