Two boys drown in tank

HYDERABAD: Two eighth standard students, B. Sri Harsha, 13, and T. Ashok Kumar, 12, drowned in ‘Dayyala Cheruvu’ (tank) off Padmalaya studio in Jubilee Hills on Thursday. While the body of Harsha surfaced in the water on Friday, police retrieved Kumar’s corpse later with the help of swimmers. The two boys were studying in A.P. Model High School. Residents of BJR Nagar in Filmnagar, the two students -along with other friends- stepped out of their houses on Thursday evening. The group of boys went to went to the tank located in Bharani lay-out. “Both the boys didn’t know swimming the Jubilee Hills SI V. Srinivas Reddy said.
