“Role of librarians has changed a lot”

KARAIKUDI: The School of Library and Information Science of Alagappa University organised an one-day national seminar on “Changing paradigms of librarianship” here recently.

S. Annamalai, Librarian, central library, welcomed the gathering. Dr. Manorama Srinath, former Professor of Library Science, University of Madras, delivered the keynote address.

P. Ramasamy, Vice-Chancellor, Alagappa University, remarked that the role of librarians had completely changed.
