VISAKHAPATNAM: A petition was filed in the Family Court here on Friday on behalf of Nandini, estranged wife of film star Pavan Kalyan, seeking an interim maintenance allowance of Rs.5 lakh a month. Ms. Nandini sought the maintenance when the court presided over by Judge L. Durga Prasad took the cases of divorce filed by Mr. Pavan Kalyan and maintenance filed by Ms. Nandini, which are now being jointly heard. Mr. Pavan Kalyan attended the in-camera proceedings of the court which went on for nearly an hour. Nandini’s advocates told reporters that they appealed to the court to settle the interim maintenance issue before taking up the cross examination in the divorce case. Mr. Durga Prasad adjourned the case to April 25 to issue the orders on interim maintenance petition.
