Two killed as van rams into bus shelter

ERODE: A van driver on Friday morning knocked off two persons waiting at a bus stop at Kolappalur village near Gobichettipalayam.

According to the Siruvalur Police, the driver lost control of the vehicle and rammed it into the bus shelter.

While, V. Ramayal died on the spot, K. Karumadakavundar succumbed to injuries on way to a government hospital.

K. Thirumalaisamy, who was also at the bus stop, is battling for life.

The police have arrested the driver.
