Despite the loss, Swami Vivekanand also made the grade on the strength of its earlier wins. In the semifinals, Swami Vivekanand meets Santhome, Chennai while DAV, Chandigarh takes on Salwan Boys, Delhi. The scores: Swami Vivekanand, Mumbai 113 in 30.1 overs (Fenil Soni 40 Pratik Gawli 38, Gagandeep Singh four for 17, Amit Rana three for 31) lost to DAV, Chandigarh 114 for no loss in 9.3 overs (Shahnawaz Mirza 91).
