Employee of business house robbed

NEW DELHI: An employee of a business house was allegedly robbed of Rs.5 lakh in cash by two men at gunpoint in Pitampura here on Friday.

According to the police, Prem Prakash, who works for Vijay Pal House, was on his way back from Oriental Bank with the cash when two young men on a scooter bumped into his car near Rukmani Devi Public School. Prem got off his car and a heated argument ensued. Later one of the men whipped out a country-made pistol and asked Prem to hand over the cash. The robbers then sped away on the two-wheeler.
