Special children’s creative carnival

CHENNAI: About 100 children have been working really hard over the last few months for this big day. They have made gift envelopes, gift wrapping papers, bookmarks, greeting cards, notepads, costume jewellery and block printed blouse pieces.

These children with special needs will showcase their creativity through these products at a carnival on Saturday, organised V-Excel Educational Trust, a non-governmental organisation working in the areas of education and rehabilitation of developmentally challenged children.

The carnival will be open from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Actor Manorama will participate in the event. The carnival, at V-Excel Research and Rehabilitation Center, 50, Sre-yes, M.G.Road, Shastri Nagar, is open to everyone. For details, call: 24522061 or 24521986.
