Train services rescheduled

CHENNAI: Due to line block/power block between Chennai Central and Basin Bridge from 11.45 p.m. on April 14 to 4.15 a.m. on April 15, the following changes will be made in the pattern of train services on this section.

Mail/Express trains diverted to Chennai Egmore: Dhanbad – Alleppey Express (Train No 3351) will be diverted on April 15; and Gorakhpur – Trivandrum Express (2511) and Trivandrum – Korba Express (6328) will be diverted on April 14.

EMU trains diverted to Chennai Egmore:

The following EMU services will be diverted to Chennai Egmore on April 14: SPM 22 Sullurupetta — Moore Market Complex (MMC) local leaving Sullurupetta at 9.40 p.m.; AM 36 Arakkonam — MMC local leaving Arakkonam at 10.30 p.m.; SM 32 Pattabiram Military Siding — MMC local leaving Pattabiram Military Siding at 10.35 p.m.; TAM 18 Tiruttani — MMC local leaving Tiruttani at 9.40 p.m.

The following EMU services would also be operated from Egmore on April 15: MAD 1 MMC — Avadi local at 00.05 a.m.; MG 1 MMC — Gummidipoondi local at 00.15 a.m.; MT 1 MMC — Tiruvallur local at 3.40 a.m.; and MAT 1 MMC — Tituttani local at 4 p.m.

Frequency increased

The frequency of the Chennai Egmore — Puducherry — Chennai Egmore Expresses (6115/6116) will be increased from five days a week to daily from April 12 from Chennai and from April 13 from Puducherry.

There will no change in the existing timings and stoppages, according to a press release.
