HASSAN: Various candidates have been recommended by the District Congress Committee to contest the Assembly elections from Hassan district. The names of Rudresh Gowda and Chandrakala have been proposed for the Belur Assembly constituency; the former Minister B. Shivaram, Chennaveerappa and B.K. Rangaswamy for Hassan constituency; Lokesh Kumar, G.B. Siddappa and J.P. Jayanna for Arsikere constituency; the former Minister H. Srikantaiah and C.V. Rajappa for Shravanabelagola constituency; Anupama, K.M. Srinivasa and B. Shivaram for Holenarsipur constituency; D. Mallesh, Narayana and Sannaswamy for Sakleshpur (reserved) constituency; and A. Manju and Seshe Gowda for Arkalgud constituency.
