To secure ration cards

Retired defence personnel and widows of defence personnel who have applied for ration cards and not got them should contact the Joint Commissioner, District Retired Defence Welfare office, before April 15, with the documents to get the cards.

Those who have not applied for ration cards may also approach the office, a press release from Chennai Collectorate said.
