PUDUCHERRY: The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) People’s Anti-Autonomy Committee will stage a demonstration on April 23 in New Delhi. The committee’s leader, T. Murugan, said that they were not against the autonomy status but wanted their demands to be incorporated into the Bill. “Free treatment and free medical seats should continue at JIPMER. There should be no change in the fee structure ,” Mr. Murugan said.
