No succumbing to Taliban threat: Pranab

Baharampore (West Bengal): Expressing outrage at the killing of two Indian construction workers in Afghanistan by suspected Taliban, India said on Saturday that it would never succumb to the threats by the Islamist militia.

“We will take necessary measures to safeguard the security of Indians working in Afghanistan,” External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee told reporters here. The five injured in the attack would be brought back to India for treatment. — PTI
