Varanasi: A 20-year-old youth was crushed to death by a speeding bus in Chaubeypur area, police said on Sunday. Rakesh, a resident of Chaubeypur area, was hit by a speeding private bus near Chaubeypur police station. He was severely injured and died on the spot. Locals blocked the road, damaged the bus and pelted stones on the passing vehicles. Police controlled the situation and took the body for post-mortem. The driver of the bus fled from the scene.
