Belgaum
Belgaum: The Belgaum division comprising seven districts has 91,93,325 voters after the latest revision of electoral rolls taken up by the Election Commission. According to official sources here on Sunday, there are 44,86,414 women voters in the districts of Belgaum, Bijapur, Bagalkot, Dharwad, Haveri, Gadag and Uttar Kannada. As many as 8,335 polling booths will be set up in the division. Belgaum district has 28,99,623 voters, the highest in the division, including 14,21,788 women voters; followed by Bijapur district - 13,16,142 voters (6,79,685 women voters); Bagalkot district - 11,88,046 voters (5,92,285 women); Dharwad district - 11,80,755 voters (5,78,601 women); Gadag district - 6,57,471 voters (3,20,969 women); Haveri district - 10,03,575 voters (4,74,559 women); and Uttar Kannada district has 9,47,713 voters including 4,61,715 women voters. Belgaum district will have 2,703 polling booths, Gadag district - 566, Bagalkot district - 1,180, Bijapur district - 735, Dharwad district - 1,039, Haveri district - 1,036 and Uttar Kannada district will have 1,076 polling booths for the elections.
