BIDAR: In view of the coming Assembly elections, Deputy Commissioner Harsh Gupta has asked people to hand over the licensed arms they have to the nearest police station. A release on Sunday said that the arms would remain with the police until May 31. Superintendent of Police A. Subramanyeswara Rao has been directed to initiate action against those who do not abide by the Deputy Commissioner’s directive. — Staff Correspondent
