DCC chief accused of fund misuse

MALAPPURAM: A group of Congress leaders led by six district secretaries raised allegations of fund mismanagement against District Congress Committee (DCC) president U. Aboobacker here on Sunday.

They charged Mr. Aboobacker with investing the party fund in the share market in his own name.

The DCC chief was also accused of failing to submit the accounts after fund collection drives.

Among the leaders who came out against the District Congress Committee president were district secretaries Rasheed Paramban, V. Baburaj, C.M. Basheer, P.P. Vijayan, A.K. Abdurahman and C. Raman.
