Autonomy extension for college

Kakinada: The P.R Government College has been sanctioned extension of autonomous status by the University Grants Commission (UGC) for a further period of six years (till 2014). A seven-member review committee of the UGC visited the college on Friday and assessed its performance and facilities available.

The committee was headed by UGC Joint Secretary AK Dogra and comprised VRC Krishnaiah, N Varaprasada Rao, JVVSN Murthy, I Murali Krishna, Winny Varghese and TVV Seetharami Reddy. Staff Reporter
