Ration dealers to join Left stir on price rise

Thiruvananthapuram: The All India Ration Dealers Association has announced that it would join the agitation programmes called by Left parties and the UNPA from April 16 to 23.

In a statement here, the association said that five lakh ration dealers and shop owners would participate in the stir. The association said it wanted firm action to strengthen the public distribution system, restoration of the reduced quota of ration rice, and distribution of 15 essential items through PDS shops.
