BHOPAL: The Madhya Pradesh IAS Officers’ Association has written a letter to the Government of India drawing attention towards the Sixth Central Pay Commission Report pointing out that certain recommendations have resulted in widening the disparity between the scales and remuneration of the All India Services, specifically, in comparison with the Indian Administrative Service. President of the Madhya Pradesh IAS Officers’ Association Dilip Mehra has written a letter to Secretary, Union Ministry of Personnel, Pension and Public Grievances, stating that his Association appreciates the concern of the Indian Police Service and Indian Forest Service Officers’ Associations, and urges Government of India to review the relevant issues and accord appropriate relief. President of the State IFS Officers’ Association H.S. Pabla told The Hindu that there were inherent anomalies in the recommendations. When officers belonging to the All India Services start at same level, logically they should get the same pay-scale at the end of their career, he pointed out. But this would not happen if the Sixth Pay Commission recommendations were accepted .
