TV anchor Udaya Bhanu Udaya Bhanu is back. And back on her familiar turf, anchoring an exclusive show in which she make women play games and return home with gifts and prizes. The latest in new series of this bubbly anchor’s initiatives happens to be Zee Telugu’s ‘Aadavari Matalaki’. The show telecast at 7.30 p.m. from Monday through Thursday comes with yet another credit. It is rolled out by Suresh Productions, an off-shoot of one of the leading production houses, the Rama Naidu Studio. The concept tries to explore the understanding between women from the same family or those related to each other. And to bring to fore this, a series of activities including games and queries are deployed by the cheery beauty who continues to remain the undisputed queen of Telugu television. Four participants play the game with difference spread over three rounds with a huge, colourful and aesthetically done backdrop. An elimination process in rounds will see the winner emerge in the final one to walk away with lots of goodies. The channel hopes to continue it success run with charts that was propelled by shows such as ‘Aata’, though it received some setback over the way responses of losers were shown, and ‘Sarigamapa’ which turned out to be a real winner all the way. For Zee Telugu, Udaya Bhanu happens to be the girl with Midas touch as she gave it the first real break in the form of Gold Rush, the hugely popular show. Will she be able to repeat her touch yet again? Coming weeks will decide. T. Lalith Singh
