Fire in apartment

Fire broke out in an apartment in Kirlampudi Layout here on Sunday afternoon. According to the Suryabagh Fire Station the fire broke out in the apartment of the General Manager of Taj Residency, Albert Rebello, who resides in the third floor of Palm Apartments. The fire officials say that it was due to short circuit. One of the bedrooms was badly damaged.
