Medical unit at airport

Madurai Airport Controller, M. Suresh, inaugurated a medical unit at the airport here on Thursday. The medical unit, put up by Vadamalayan Hospitals, comprises a medical office, an emergency medical technician and medicines. It would offer free medical service for the passengers. An automated external defibrillator, a life saving device, has been provided to the medical unit, the hospital managing director, V. Pugalagiri, said in a statement. — Staff Reporter
