Rama Navami celebrated with fervour

Housing Minister Botcha Satyanarayana offers silk clothes at Ramatheerthaalu

MOBILE RAM: Idols of Rama, Seetha and Laxmana being taken in a rickshaw by a priest in a street blessing people on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami.

VIZIANAGARAM: The celestial wedding of Lord Sri Rama and His consort Sita was performed on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami at Ramatheerthaalu temple in Nellimarla mandal on Monday. Minister for Housing Botcha Satyanarayana and his wife and Lok Sabha member Botcha Jhansi Lakshmi offered silk clothes to the presiding deity and participated in the kalyanotsavam. Devotees from across the district and neighbouring districts thronged the temple since early hours and offered prayers. Road Transport Corporation operated special services in additional to the regular services to the temple.

Celestial wedding

Rajahmundry: Sri Rama Navami was celebrated with gaiety and fervour in East Godavari district on Monday. Apart from Seetha Ramachandra Swami kalyanams, in Vadapalli and Amalapuram towns Venkateswara Swami kalyanotsavams were also celebrated .

Additional SP A.V. Ranganath along with his family participated in kalyanotsavam at Armed Reserve Police quarters Ramalayam .

The celestial wedding of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita was performed in a few apartments. , Wedding cards were printed a few days in advance in the name of Dasaratha Maharaj and Mithilapura Rajah and distributed among the locality people for the kalyanam.
