College student killed in accident

SALEM: A college student was killed on the spot when his motorcycle hit a lorry from behind near here on Sunday.

Police said Santhoshkumar (21) of Tiruchengode, studying in a private polytechnic college, was returning home after visiting his friends in Vellalakundam, when the accident took place. Karipatti police registered a case.
