Salwan Boys claims title

MUMBAI: Salwan Boys School (Delhi) defeated Santhome High School (Chennai) by 103 runs in the final of the Boost Cup inter-city challenge cricket here.

The two finalists were awarded Rs. 24,000 and Rs. 15,000 respectively.

The scores (final):

Salwan Boys School (Delhi) 237 for seven in 45 overs (Sandeep Kaushik 50, Nitesh Rana 62, S. Vicky 30, Rajiv Bose 36, Yatharth Tomar 27 n.o., R Sarwankumar three for 23) bt Santhome HS (Chennai) 134 in 32.4 overs (R.D. Ashwin 36, M. Kamlesh 34, Yatharth Tomar three for 23, Shakti Singh three for five).

All-rounder-of-the-Tournament: Sandeep Kaushik (Salwan Boys, Delhi).

Batsman-of-the-Tournament: Nitesh Rana (Salwan Boys).

Bowler-of-the-Tournament: Yatharth Tomar (Salwan Boys).

Wicketkeeper-of-the-Tournament: M. Kamlesh (Santhome HS, Chennai).
