Golden Kingdom pleases

Mumbai: Golden Kingdom and Blue Daffodils pleased when the horses were exercised here on Monday morning (April 14).

Inner sand:

800m: Morpheus (Kotwal) 51, 600/39.5. Urged.

1,200m: Agios Nikolaos (Ruzaan), Apollotina (rb) 1-26.5, 800/56, 600/42.5. Former better.

1,400m: Phenomenale (C. Rajendra) 1-41, 600/44. Easy.

Outer sand:

800m: Rising Hero (M. Narredu), Slickkit (Merchant) 51, 600/38. They moved level freely. Tapis (Nilesh), Major Roberts (Kotwal) 56, 600/41. Pair level.

Race track:

600m: Patek Philippe (K. Prasad) 34.5. Moved well.

800: Dynamite (rb), Star Sparkle (rb) 52, 600/36. Former finished three lengths ahead.

1,000m: Mysterious Star (D. K. Ashish), Highland Flame (Shelar) and Bridge Too Far (N. Jodha) 1-4, 800/48.5, 600/35. First named covered three lengths and finished one length in front. Rose Bowl (C. Rajendra), Stud Of Gold (S. N. Chavan) 1-5, 800/50.5, 600/36. Former who is in good shape made up two lengths on the outside and finished three lengths ahead. Note former. Up North (C. S. Jodha), Moon Gazer (Merchant) 1-6, 600/39. Both are in good shape. Golden Kingdom (S. N. Chavan), Blue Daffodils (Baandal) 1-1.5, 600/37. They moved neck and neck freely. Van De Graf (rb), Black Sapphire (Baandal) 1-3, 600/38.5. They finished level. Sparkler (S. N. Chavan), Black Phantom (Agarwal) 1-4, 600/36.5. Both were pushed and former was half a length better.

Gate practice (Inner sand):

1,000m: Pebble Beach (C. S. Jodha), Premier Panache (Hamir) 1-8, 800/52.5, 600/40. Former has improved and finished well clear. Latter was not urged. Sentinel (Ruzaan), Synergetic (C. Rajendra) 1-8, 800/54, 600/42. Former ended four lengths in front. Chak De (C. S. Jodha), John Cabot (Shelar) 1-10, 600/43. Former finished five lengths ahead.

Mock race (Race track) — April 13:

1,200m: Temptation (Pereira), Summit (Zameer), Princess Sameerah (I. Shaikh), Bay Magic (Belose) and Spiritual Hymn (Tograllu) 1-16, 600/37.5. Temptation won by 3/4 length but Summit who led the field till 400 was well in hand and finished a good second. Spiritual Hymn was slowly off by a distance.
