Facit Asia posts win

CHENNAI: Facit Asia defeated Asian Sports Club by six runs in a decond division contest of the Kancheepuram DCA cricket league held here recently.

The scores: KDCA league: II division: Chrompet 143 for seven in 20 overs bt Mani Memorial 141 for five in 20 overs (Rajesh 57 not out, Venkatesh five for 45); Facit Asia 106 for five in 20 overs bt Asian SC 100 for eight in 20 overs; Syndicate Bank 88 for nine in 20 overs (Shanmugam five for 35) lost to Blue Bird 90 for one in 8.3 overs (M.K. Senthil Kumar 56 not out).

Seshadri Memorial Cup: Guru Nanak Combines 122 in 24.2 overs (Selvaganapathy 51, Lakshmi Narayanan five for 17) lost to Adambakkam 124 for eight in 27.4 overs; Standard 108 in 27 overs lost to Krisnaraj 109 for four in 21 overs (R. Srinivasan 40 not out).

Chess camp
