CUDDALORE: The Tirunelveli-Chennai summer special train hit a tempo at an unmanned level crossing between Kolathangurichi and Agaram near Vriddhachalam on Monday. The tempo driver Kothandapani (42) of Nethaji Nagar was killed on the spot. After clearing the track, the train left about 45 minutes behind schedule. The railway police have registered a case.
