Spurious packaged water seized

KORAPUT: The Malkangiri police on Tuesday detained two persons for allegedly selling spurious packaged drinking water in Malkangiri district. Police, under the direct supervision of Nitish Bhanudash Jawale, district Collector of Malkangiri, seized 144 cartoons of packaged water bottles with “Shivnath” brand after receiving a complaint from a consumer who had found a dead mosquito in a packaged drinking water bottle in a retail shop at Kalimela, two days ago .
